据外媒报道，AppleTV+将于周四跟奥普拉·温弗瑞合作推出新的讨论系列节目《奥普拉访谈(The Oprah Conversation)》。据悉，这档节目将是一档谈话类节目，主持人将跟当今最重要的新闻人物、思想领袖及行业大展开深入讨论。 苹果在一份新闻稿中指出，该系列将在新冠病毒大流行期间进行远程拍摄并将“融入”。

奥普拉在节目首集《如何成为一名反种族主义者(How to Be an Antiracist)》跟作家Ibram X进行了谈话，播出时间定在7月30日周四下午4点（太平洋时间）。

在之后8月7日的节目中，运动员和活动家Emmanuel Acho将接受奥普拉采访，随后作家Bryan Stevenson也将跟奥普拉进行对话。

早在2018年，奥普拉就跟苹果签署了一份多年的内容协议，并且她还出现在Apple TV+主题发布会，成为当时舞台上最引人注目的嘉宾之一。

除了《奥普拉访谈》，这位脱口秀主持人在Apple TV上的节目还有《奥普拉谈新冠(Oprah Talks COVID-19)》、《奥普拉读书俱乐部(Oprah’s Book Club)》。

Immer konkreter werden die Gerüchte, Apple würde demnächst verschiedene Produkte für “Virtual Reality” und “Augmented Reality” auf den Markt bringen. Die Frage ist, welche Anwendungen uns damit begeistern sollen. Bei Virtual Reality (also einer komplett geschlossenen Brille) können wir uns einen Eindruck verschaffen, indem wir die bereits vorhandenen Produkte der Konkurrenz betrachten. With the 2020 Apple TV reportedly sporting an A12X Bionic underneath the hood, you can rest assure the device will be packing considerable firepower. Apple will most likely market the Apple TV as the platform with which it wants to popularize its Apple Arcade service. Unfortunately, selling an electronic box loaded with a powerful silicon isn’t going to be enough, which is why the company is rumored to be prepping its own game controller for the 2020 Apple TV.

No Fixed Release Date on the 2020 Apple TV Game Controller, but WWDC Could Hold Some Surprise Announcements

There aren’t any design details for the game controller provided, but Jioriku is under the impression that Apple is apparently working on the accessory for the Apple TV. If you didn’t know the following, there is already dedicated game controller support for the iPad for both the PS4 and Xbox One controllers, and third-party accessory manufacturers like Gamevice have developed a controller for a variety of iPhone models too.

With the 2020 Apple TV featuring a powerful chipset like the A12X Bionic, a user simply cannot rely on the regular remote to do some casual gaming, which could be one reason why Jioriku tweeted that a game controller is being prepped. Sadly, while the tipster earlier stated that the TV box will ship with a heatsink to properly cool the A12X Bionic in an earlier tweet, he doesn’t have a concrete release date for this unnamed game controller.

He does state there’s a possibility the announcement might happen at WWDC 2020, which will start on June 22, but you shouldn’t hold your breath. Then again, there could be some hardware announcements happening on a software-focused keynote such as the 2020 iMac redesign and Apple’s transition from Intel chips to its in-house A-series silicon, so anything is possible a few days from now.

Let us also see if Apple is ready to bundle this game controller with the 2020 Apple TV to push its Apple Arcade service, or let us see if customers are ready to pay a little extra for an Apple-branded accessory. Do let us know what you think about this powerful device down in the comments.

Apple l’a annoncé hier, le prochain event aura lieu au Yerba Buena Center de San Francisco, le 1er septembre 2010. Cet évènement sera centré sur la section Musique de la gamme Apple.

Au programme, peut-être une nouvelle version d’iTunes (10) avec du streaming. Un nouvel iPod Touch (voir l’article d’hier) pourrait également voir le jour. Pourquoi pas non plus un nouvel iPod Nano tactile ?

L’Apple Tv pourrait également s’inviter à la fête. On aura peut-être une nouvelle session de questions-réponses sur l’Antenna-gate, sur l’iPhone 4 Blanc…

L’iOS 4 pour iPad pourrait également être abordé.

Want to play your Mega Man 2 ROM on your new fourth-generation Apple TV? How about Super Mario Bros. 3?

It’s a ton of fun to play classic console arcade games, especially if you have a few ROMs lying around on your hard drive and would like to play them on the big screen.

Here’s how to get your new Apple TV all set up to rock some retro games.

First of all, you’ll need a fourth-generation Apple TV running the latest version of tvOS, an active Apple Developer Account (free or otherwise), a copy of XCode for your Mac and a USB-A to USB-C cable (I grabbed this one from Amazon).

You’ll also need emulation software to run on your Apple TV. Provenance is the one I used; it’s one of the nicer ones and it will run on your Apple TV as well as your iOS devices. It’s super-easy to use and only takes a bit of work to compile the code.

Use the USB-C cable to connect your Apple TV to your Mac; this will let your Mac and the Apple TV communicate and add the compiled software emulator to your Apple TV.

Set up Xcode

Grab a copy of Xcode to build the emulator.

Next, set up Xcode. Launch it on your Mac and you’ll be prompted to enter your Apple ID. If you don’t get the prompt, simply head into Preferences in Xcode and enter your ID and password there.

Once your Apple ID is verified, head to the Provenance code repository at GitHub and copy the source URL from the top of the file list. Next, choose Check Out from the Source Control menu in Xcode. Paste the source URL you just copied into the repository location field that shows up. Click on the Next button in the lower right corner of the Xcode screen.

Choose the master branch and click on the blue Next button. Save the folder named Provenance somewhere where you can find it later, like your Downloads or Desktop folder.

Once the source code is downloaded, you’ll get a new Provenance window. If your Apple TV is connected to your Mac via USB, turn it on. Provenance will prompt you to add the device to your Xcode install. Choose it, click Next, and let Xcode do its thing.
