To use the LiberTV tvOS 10 – 10.1 Jailbreak simply download the ipa & install it using Cydia Impactor.

1. Download the LiberTV tvOS 10 – 10.1 ipa and Cydia Impactor. Also make sure you have iTunes installed as well.

2: Connect your Apple TV to your computer using a USB cable.

3. Just like any other sideloaded application you’re going to open Cydia Impactor and drag and drop the liberTV IPA file onto Cydia Impactor.

4: Cydia Impactor will ask for your Apple ID and password, which is sent to Apple to generate a signing certificate. If you don’t like the idea of using your personal Apple ID, you can create another one and use that instead.

Note: If it doesn’t install try it again. If it still persist try using a different Apple ID.

5: Impactor will now begin installing the jailbreak app onto your Apple TV. Once done, disconnect your Apple TV from your computer and connect it to your TV.Note: Only tvOS 10, 10.1, and 10.1 are supported.

6: Open your Apple TV and you should see the liberTV jailbreak app on the Home screen. Proceed with opening it.

7: Select the options for jailbreaking (as shown below) and then press the Do it! button.

Step 8: The jailbreak will begin now. After a few minutes, if your ATV 4 is jailbroken successfully, you’ll be prompted by a message saying ‘Success! Your TV has been liberated!’. If it fails and reboots, then retry the jailbreak. It takes a couple of tries before it can be jailbroken successfully.

Consumers have never had more choice when it comes to streaming devices than they do right now. Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, and Google Chromecast have made it easy to cut the cord, bringing the world of digital media to the masses. What is Apple TV?

Apple TV is a set-top media center for your home TV that allows you to stream video, music, and entertainment content. Once upon a time, watching a movie meant popping in a DVD, but with Apple TV, you can access almost millions of hours of content without ever leaving your sofa. The device currently comes in three models, starting at $149. The most basic Apple TV only provides a standard 1080p high-definition picture, while the two more expensive models have 4K HDR output.

Each model gives you access to a massive library of streaming services, including Disney Plus, Amazon Prime, HBO Now, Hulu, DirecTV Now, and more. Most importantly, it’s one of the easiest to use media centers on the market thanks to Apple’s straightforward design philosophy. If you value simplicity over affordability, Apple TV is an obvious choice.

How does Apple TV work?

Apple TV, like all streaming media centers, requires an internet connection to work. You connect the device to your TV through its HDMI port. When you first turn on your Apple TV, the system will automatically walk you through the setup process. You’ll enter your Apple ID, the same one you use on your iPhone or iPad if you have one, which automatically connects the device to your Apple account. If you don’t have one, you’ll make one.

Once you’re set up, it’s time to visit the Apple TV Store to select your favorite streaming services. There are thousands of services in the store, from Netflix to Showtime Anytime to Crunchyroll and everything in between. Longtime Apple users can even access their purchases from iTunes on the service, including music, movies, and TV shows. Most streaming channels require you to have a subscription to access them, but there are free movie-streaming sites like Crackle for folks on a budget.

Do you want to jailbreak Apple TV 4, 3, 2 or 1 on tvOS 10.1 or 10.0? The Apple TV allows you to do many things, like play video, watch movies or listen to music from your iPad, iPhone or via AirPlay, and the dedicated App Store of Apple TV allows you to download several games and apps – well at least the 4th gen Apple TV. The first three versions only offer media playback.

But a jailbroken Apple TV is a different beast. It can install new services and apps that are far more interesting than what you get natively.

To Jailbreak an Apple TV or Not?

There are several benefits of jailbreaking an old Apple TV and fewer drawbacks. Here are some software offerings that can be installed on the old system.

• aTV Flash (black) / FireCore – This user-friendly software allows playback of file types like .mkv, and also allows users to install unofficial apps like Last.fm and browse the web.
• Kodi (known as XMBC previously) – This is an entertainment hub that enables users to play most videos, podcasts, and music. It also activates PVR functionality so that live television can be watched and recorded.

Therefore, it’s a great idea to jailbreak old Apple TV, especially if you have had one that has not been used for a while.

Is It Possible To Jailbreak Apple TV?

The good news is that Apple TV can be easily jailbroken, as long as the right model of Apple TV is with you.

4 generations have been released over a decade. Apple TV 1, 2, 3 and 4 – the latest one has new features, a redesigned operating system, and an Apple Store.

Apple TV 4 and Apple TV 2 can be easily jailbroken with the right software. The first gen Apple TV can be jailbroken using Rowmote.

How to Jailbreak Apple TV 3

If you’re an owner of Apple TV 3, it can’t be jailbroken at this point, regardless of what you see on the internet. A number of scams on the web claim that they can jailbreak a third-generation Apple TV, but what they’re really good at is taking away your money.

Even if there are legitimate services, it is important to be careful. As an example, let’s consider this Apple TV jailbreaking tool – Snow3rd. We have tried several times to verify if this is legit or not, but were unsuccessful because it is going to work only if your Apple TV 3 isn’t above tvOS 5.0.3, and it doesn’t always work.

So regardless of the Apple TV jailbreaking fluff on the internet, there is no way to jailbreak Apple TV 3.

The most you can do is install Plexconnect and utilize Plex Media Server, which doesn’t need a jailbroken device but does enable you to stream more content via your Apple TV. You read more on how to install and use Plex in this guide.

NFL games are broadcast Monday nights, Thursday nights, Sunday afternoons, and Sunday nights on different networks: CBS, Fox, NBC, ESPN, and the NFL Network.
